I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in the spring of 2023, with a B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Cybersecurity. 

 

Before I developed software, I took professional portrait photos, and often found myself swamped in photo editing work after a shoot. After two prom seasons, I decided that I had had enough, and started programming to see if I could be the one to make change to help other people like me.

 

I spent my first two internships teaching game development in Java as a virtual instructor with iDTech, where I learned more about how my favorite games are created, as well as how to coach others in a professional setting. During the summer of 2022, I interned with Pariveda Solutions, where my team and I built a parent portal to an existing app for a non-profit, ADHD America. This opportunity helped me gain experience with Amazon Web Services, and how to connect these services to an app we were building in React Native. As of mid-2023, I started developing code for Paycom. Staffed on one of the most-productive teams, I continually create, document, and test backend additions in PHP and frontend work in React.

When I'm not working on a side-project, you can find me at your local specialty coffee shop. Having worked at two of them as recent as 2023, I love meeting new people and maybe you'll even find me behind the machine!
